What is Pure Creatine?

Creatine is an organic molecule that is found naturally in our bodies, especially in the muscles, but also in nerve cells and other tissues. Within the cells, creatine serves as a kind of additional energy storage. If this storage is full, we simply have more energy, e.g. during physical exercise, which increases our performance. The increased training performance can have a positive effect on muscle growth² in combination with a protein-rich diet.

Why should I use Pure Creatine?

When it comes to performance enhancement, there´s no any other food supplement that has been as well researched as creatine. Even though the human body can produce creatine on its own, the amounts synthesized are not enough to fuel maximum physical performance. The amounts of creatine consumed through meat and fish are also not sufficient to achieve the desired performance enhancing effect. Creatine has an excellent safety profile and is free of undesired side effects when taken in the recommended dose.

When is the best time to take Pure Creatine?

The aim of taking creatine is to fill up the creatine phosphate storage in the muscle cells. To keep the storage full, a regular intake is necessary. Previous recommendations of taking creatine in cycles (e.g. 6 weeks of supplementation, 6 weeks break) are outdated. We recommend a regular intake of 3 g creatine per day. This dose is scientifically proven to be effective and healthy.
Since it is about filling up the storage, the time of intake is not really important. Many athletes like to mix their creatine into their post-workout shake. On non-training days, creatine can be taken with a meal or also in a protein shake or any other beverage. The non-flavored powder mixes easily with a drink of your choice!
