What is Ashwagandha? Part 1

Ashwagandha can reduce stress, improve sleep quality and possibly have a positive effect on the hormonal system (especially testosterone) and athletic performance. Studies such as those by Bonilla et al. (2021) show that Ashwagandha increases strength, explosive power, endurance and regeneration. A randomized study by Wankhede (2015) shows significant increases in strength and muscle mass as well as an increase in testosterone. The regeneration time was also shortened. Ashwagandha also promotes cognitive performance and mental focus.
